Best way to determine the return type of a function in C++

I’m trying to determine the return type of a function for a template class that has a template parameter that is a function template. Here is an example:

Is there a way that I can determine the return type of s1 and s2? I know I can figure it out by simply looking at the return type of the function, but that’s not really an elegant solution.
For the purposes of this question, I’m assuming the function is only called once.

You can just use decltype():

The return type will be the type of f(), and since f() is the argument of the constructor, it’s a parameter pack, so the return type is always a pack of function types.
If you want to be able to call the function multiple times, you can use the id-expression trick:
